wise lines from swarupkmohanty

1. when mind dissects it steals the patience from heart. what worth does a heart bear when it has no patience? what worth a child bares when it has lost the innocence? 2.You are normed to believe a lie Even you see the truth in eyes. Many a miss between your lips Yet you yearn to lead with whips. 3.  "It is very easy to humiliate and then kill a good person   4. mudate   baad  jab  aash   deti   ho ,accha  hai, par  wada   na  karo...wada  karo  to  na   nibhana   na   karo .( in hindi) 5. some people only become Buddha and they Become Love .the bottom line is -have least expectations yet have will to help and give 6. if you have EVEN SLIGHTEST trust in your friend...never hurt him with your impatient move and let him down for a petty thing, unless you hear his version from his mouth 7. There is  space Beyond you and me it does stretch Where we grow Withou...

Honey I blew my B up

On a fine Sunday morning, when I was chatting with one of my friends, he casually asked, "do you know what is the secret way to reach men's heart? ..It is his belly -give him good food." I asked- what about women? He said, " you are aiming too high"... And we laughed heartily. Yes, aiming too high is a catch point. Friends, what I am aiming at ..is  the cosmetic surgery of breasts. These days, many young women are going for a good size and shape to look confident. There are mixed views on big and small breasts. Though large breast size matters, build confidence & conjures, there are no less fans of small breasts. As one of the small breast fans very rightly said, anything over the mouth size is sheer waste" Irrespective of the psycho-social temptation, the health stake is huge in gel implantation. The side effects of Breast implantation , as the research findings suggest, can range in seriousness from minor irritation to death. Patients with either sal...

VITAMIN- G

VITAMIN-G A few days before new- years eve, last year , as i was taking a round ,I saw on one side of the road a huge first -world -shopping mall. One of its shops had stolen the show. What? yes ....That was a store which had all sorts of medicines to tone-up /beautify human - body - with -a cosmetic -touch. Vitamin section --A-B-C-D-E-F-.. A naughty and curious boy, at his stripleen of thirteen/ fourteen, asked the shopkeeper,' Do you also have Vitamin-G' ? The shop keeper laughed, and said...'God knows'.! This words -God knows, touched me.I thought - how true! we can buy all vitamins, except Vitamin-G; G for God! The cold breeze was getting more ROUGHER...the road was almost deserted as I was passing the bridge. Accross the River, as it flows by MIT Boston,I could see the shimmering moon beam had enveloped its spell on the ripples of the small waves...all cocktailed ... as if creating thousand silvery jasmines on the river bed. A Bell on the boston chruc...

A journey into the memory's lane

I would like to take you all in a journey in to the sixties and seventies - a time-band during which I grew up.But before that I would talk about Vintage days from the mouth of my 'grandees'.My father was an employee of a very generous company- TISCO (now TATS STEEL).A very educated executive who did his M.A.,LL.B. during the Pre- independence Era.My grand- father( had migrated originally from cuttack) was one of the first employees of TISCO. When it was started in 1907- some 107 years back.We had the only pucca house near Badampahar- a place from where TISCO used to mine-out iron ores.No trucks were available; hence Iron ore used to be bullock -curt(ed) up to the railway station. And we used to provide 300 bullock- carts from our village only. There were no fans in the office, so men were employed to pull hand -fans to blow air and make airy.Street lamps were lighted through a lamp-man who used to come in the evening to light those kerosene lamps. And that was ear...

GOING TO SCHOOL DURING EARLY 70s AS A KID

Going to school during early 70s as a kid. In early June, when our school used to open after summer vacation, I used to sink my heart in Pain. The summer days schooling was pretty tough and heartless in those days in Villages. I was then just a kid of 8 yrs old. On our way to school we used to cross paddy fields, small ponds and of course railway tracks. And that used to be the best incentive to go to school because we could play with the tadpoles or run along the narrow bridges through the paddy fields or walk on the rail -way-tracks balancing our arms like wings. I did not like school or my teachers. What I used to hate the most was that the class room atmosphere, the artifacts and the pedagogy . A freshly picked long and strong twig used to greet us .And a never smiling teacher will command the knowledge to bloom. Thus as soon as we used to enter the class room the fear used to enter in us. The first class used to be of rhyming tables. So the class teacher u...
